We launched The Goose Coffee Company in 2026 as a small, independent roasting company. Our owners, Andrew and Emma Wollmer and Dalton Watters, were driven by a deep love of exceptional coffee and a shared desire to build something together, something that could honor some of the most inspirational people in their lives.

The name "The Goose" honors a family connection. Andrew and Emma's grandfather, Ron Wollmer, who passed in 2021, owned the Dutch Goose in Palo Alto years ago, and naming the business felt like a natural way to continue a part of that legacy.

The spirit of The Goose comes from another important person in our story: Tammy Watters, Dalton's mother, who passed away in 2018. Tammy was fun, charismatic, and never missed a chance to live life to the fullest, whether that meant chasing a new adventure or bringing people together for a good laugh. Dalton wanted her way of living to carry on as part of who we are. Her joy, her sense of adventure, and her love of life are the traits we want to amplify in everything we do, and what we hope you feel every time you drink a cup of The Goose Coffee.

That's the community we want to build: people who love to live life, adventure, and gather. Whether it's a morning ritual, an afternoon meet-up, or a spontaneous celebration, The Goose Coffee Company is where life's small pleasures are amplified and shared.
